On 14.5.2018, the government of the Republic of Slovenia, during the government visit to Kočevje, also visited smartMELAMINE d.o.o. The company was visited by the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Dr. Miro Cerar, Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Zdravko Počivalšek and State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Aleš Cantarutti. In addition to representatives of the Government, the mayor of the Municipality of Kočevje, Dr. Vladimir Prebilič and a number of reputable entrepreneurs from our region visited smartMELAMINE d.o.o. The delegation was welcomed by Damjan Murn, director of smartMELAMINE d.o.o., director of Melamin d.d. Kočevje, Srečko Štefanič and Investment Manager dr. Igor Mihelič, who also led the tour. We presented our new production plant and also our basic activities and products of the company. The visit was very professional and lasted exactly 45 minutes. Government representatives were impressed by the innovation of smartMELAMINE d.o.o., both because of its solutions in technological terms and, above all, for highly innovative products. The Prime Minister stated that the company is an important Slovenian innovator, with a globally unique production and congratulated the company on the accomplished work, wishing smartMELAMINE d.o.o. all the best in the future.
